Brandon Tillman is the founding attorney of our Illinois law practice and a trusted advocate for individuals, entrepreneurs, and businesses across the state.
His work blends the discipline of institutional compliance, the clarity of business‑minded counsel, and the compassion of a lawyer who understands the human stakes behind every decision.
Brandon’s career spans criminal defense, child welfare, nonprofit legal aid, and municipal executive‑level violence‑prevention work.
Known for his calm, strategic approach, Brandon helps clients make decisions early and intentionally. Whether he’s structuring a new venture, designing compliance infrastructure, or guiding a family through legacy planning, his goal is always the same: to provide clarity, reduce risk, and create a safe harbor for smart, sustainable growth.
A graduate of the University of Chicago, where he earned a B.A. in Public Policy, Brandon went on to receive his Juris Doctorate from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. His academic foundation, paired with years of hands-on experience, gives him a rare, understanding of how laws are created, interpreted, and enforced.
He has advised government agencies, managed state and federal grant programs, trained professionals across disciplines, and led community‑wide initiatives where legal, operational, and political pressures intersect.
